Redrow Chairman Steve Morgan has pledged to restore the company to its core values of quality, tradition and superior styling; so when they needed a brand creating for their latest housing range 'The New Heritage Collection' they were straight on the phone to us - their design agency of 15 years.
We developed a new logo and brand identity which we then rolled out onto an abundance of luxury marketing materials including a 65 page brochure, press folders, house sheets, banners and a pocket size Z-card. These were all used to showcase the new range during a prestigious launch event held at the world-famous Bonhams Auction House in London, attended by the movers and shakers of the property world. Our work is now being seen up and down the country by potential house buyers and Redrow are delighted with the levels of interest in the new range!
HRH Prince William visited Liverpool's Alder Hey Hospital this week, and was presented with artwork done by a local youngster.
We were approached to prepare the artwork.

As part of Liverpool's Go Penguin festival, we designed and produced 'Curt the Penguin' for our client Curtins Consulting. He was delivered just in time for last month's cold snap and you can see him here feeling right at home.
We were approached by the Morgan Foundation to prepare stage artwork, as well as some Gift artwork in the style of Andy Warhol. This picture is of Diane and Jane, with their Warhol inspired artwork, printed onto canvas. Cool eh!
We were asked by the guys over at Redrow to design a Christmas Emailer to send out to their partners and clients, so naturally we opted for a Flash-based snow globe!
The Snow Globe featured falling snow, which over a few seconds stuck to the roof of the house inside it! Magical!
USP Creative helped Curtins Birmingham office celebrate its 20th birthday. Called the Curtins 20/20 VIP Tour, an open top bus tour was organised around Birmingham City Centre to show off 20 of the iconic buildings Curtins have worked over the years. As guests climbed aboard the bus, guests received a route planner that had been designed by ourselves, along with a Curtins branded double decker. And luckily, we’d remembered to order the blue sky and sunshine well in advance!
The tour started and finished at the very posh Opus Restaurant, where a gorgeous selection of canapés (not just any canapés, these canapés included steak, oysters, prawns and chorizo) and plenty of drinks were laid on for guests before and after. And using our USP charm, we managed to get Clive Dutton, OBE and Director of Regeneration at Birmingham City Council, to attend the event as a star guest and even managed to persuade him to stand up and say a few good things about our client.
Despite officially finishing at 9.30pm, guests stayed around until well after 11pm and everyone left with a goody bag filled with a special edition Birmingham Birthday brochure and some other Curtins’ goodies!
...especially when it's getting people talking about our clients.
When Curtins Consulting took a team over to MIPIM in Cannes we wanted to let everyone know it was happening... so we came up with an eye-catching (or should we say eye-protecting) invitation of branded sunglasses... and what better way to promote their 'Party On The Beach' than have all the property and engineering press talking about it...
As part of the launch of the Call Zebra brand we created, we produced their website... which includes updated newsfeeds, interactive forum and client log-in area!
Well it seems our little blog here has somehow managed to miss out of letting you fine people know about the range of web related services we offer... Whether you're looking for a simple brochute site... a large content-managed site... a news-driven site with forums and other interactive areas, a web portal to link with several other sites or e-based newsletter we can do it... and have for many of our clients.
Some of the crew from Curtins Consulting will head over to Cannes in March again for the famous property show MIPIM. This year they're hosting a drinks party on the beach for 80 guests, and we've just done an invite for it that will put any other party in the shade.
USP have recently been involved with re-branding the Promotional Specialists Hatters. We came up with a vibrant and funky corporate ID which reflects their core values - mad! From business cards you can wear to funky stationery and a great new website we've helped them stay a-head (sorry) of the competition!!!
Our environmental and wayfinding graphics have brought work spaces to life and reinforced the Unilever brand values and forward thinking approach to business in a number of locations throughout the UK.
St Paul's Square represents the first phase of Liverpool's New Commercial District Masterplan, centred on Old Hall Street and Pall Mall.
USP has created branding and sales collateral for buildings across the development as well as signage, hoardings, presentations and tender proposals. USP also managed the launch event for building 5.
Curtins Engineers are located across the UK and as part of our branding and PR programme we've kitted out each of their offices with striking new environmental graphics throughout.
For the past couple of months we've been working hard on the identity and branding of an accident managment company and even if we say so ourselves, we've done a great job.
This isn’t your bog standard accident management company, they do things a bit differently and our brief was to reflect this. And by coming up wih the name Call Zebra, we were on to a good start.
So, why Call Zebra? Because they take a naturally different approach to accident management, because everything they do is black and white and because it’s a name you’re unlikely to forget.
As well as dreaming up their identity and branding, we’ve rolled out a full campaign which has included their stationery right, B2B ads, launch event and all their PR which will soon be hitting the trade press. We’ve also done their website callzebra.co.uk which you can logo on to for more information about the company.
So far, we’ve only done the B2B campaign, but we can’t wait to start working on the consumer campaign that will hopefully kick off in September.
Brand new to the USP portfolio are a range of beautifully executed environmental graphics for the Müller (the famous yogurt people) headquarters based in the heart Shropshire
CRS are a national security and access specialist based in Leeds. We've worked with them to develop and stunning and vibrant new corporate identity which reflects their core values.
This campaign for the Heart of Mersey was designed to make school children aware of the dangers of saturated fats in everyday food. These Good Fats verses Bad Fats posters in and around town informed the children in a way that they could relate to.
USP Creative design and produce all of the point of sale and collateral material for Redrow Group UK including their bi-annual guide to UK developments.
We won a competitive pitch against several agencies to promote LBM as the UK's largest direct marketing agency. We helped to shape their position as a forward thinking, 'people based' company that immediately distanced them from usual 'bow and arrow targetting' visuals used by so many of it's competitors.
Instead we produced a range of photography using actual staff that brought a warmth to their collateral. We've produced several exhibitions for LBM as well as the interior graphics at their call centres across the country.
We've also branded several of their partnership call centres for clients such as Sky and Vodaphone. As well as LBM's main identity work we've produced several charitable brands including the current Andrew Flintoff Benefit Year logo and collateral for a range of fund raising ventures throughout the year.
Not that we're bragging about mixing it up with A-list celebs but we've just designed the new Charlatans single cover - You Cross My Path! It's the latest project in a long relationship with the chaps from Northwich and we're currently working on the next single.
